Roblox FPS Unlocker for Windows — Download BloxBoost Free

Your Roblox is capped at 60 FPS and your old laptop can't keep up. BloxBoost unlocks the frame limit, clears cache, and raises CPU priority in one click — no setup, no account, no ads.

Why You Need an FPS Unlocker on Weak Hardware

Roblox locks itself to 60 frames per second by default. On a tired machine, your CPU still works hard to push those 60 frames, but you never feel the smoothness because the cap stops the game from rendering faster. The result: the engine is under load, your fans spin, and the game still feels sluggish.

BloxBoost solves this by unlocking Roblox's frame cap through the game's own settings file—the same safe method that community optimization packs use. But it goes further: the tool also wipes your Roblox cache (logs, temp files, old assets) and bumps the running game to High CPU priority across all cores. Older integrated GPUs and budget CPUs actually show the difference.

Every change is reversible. Hit Reset and your Roblox goes back to vanilla state.

How to Download and Use BloxBoost

  1. Download for Windows Go to the download link, unzip the folder anywhere (Desktop, Documents, wherever). Open the .exe file. No setup wizard, no admin popup needed. If Windows SmartScreen shows a warning, click 'More info' then 'Run anyway'—the build is not code-signed.
  2. Pick a preset On the dashboard, choose Ultra for maximum frames on very old hardware, High for most budget PCs, Balanced for smooth everyday play, or Quality if your machine is strong. Read the preset table to see frame caps and lighting modes.
  3. Click Boost My Roblox The app unlocks the frame cap, tweaks hidden performance flags, wipes your cache (and tells you how many MB you freed), and sets the game to High priority. Takes seconds.
  4. Launch Roblox Use the dashboard Launch button, or open Roblox the normal way. Your preset is already applied. If visuals glitch or performance disappoints, press Reset and try another preset.

What BloxBoost Does (And Doesn't)

The app is one small window. Pick a preset, click the big button, launch Roblox. No wizard, no carousel, no upsell.

Four presets let you match your hardware: Ultra (frame cap unlimited, lowest visuals—for potato laptops), High (cap 360 fps, voxel lighting—recommended for budget PCs), Balanced (144 fps, shadow maps—everyday default), Quality (240 fps, full real-time lighting—for stronger machines). Switch anytime; Reset first, then apply the new preset.

The tool applies flags to every Roblox version you have installed, clears the cache, sets process priority, and gives you a Launch button to start the game directly from the dashboard. It runs offline, writes nothing to the cloud, and closes when you close it—no background services, no tray icon.

Safety and Reversibility

BloxBoost writes to Roblox's ClientAppSettings.json file inside the game's Versions folder—the exact same mechanism Bloxstrap and community FastFlag packs rely on. It does not inject code, does not read game memory, does not patch files. Roblox reads these settings on launch.

Unknown or outdated flags are skipped, so future Roblox updates won't break the preset. The full list of flags each preset applies is documented in the app folder.

The source code is open under MIT license. Before using any FPS tool, check your game's terms of service—Roblox makes the final call about what is allowed.
